We provide a unique blend of intensive, faith-based business training, advisory services, and access to capital. Our programs are currently offered in 17 countries, including Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and partner organizations around the world.
Position Summary
The Impact & Data Associate supports Sinapis’ mission by ensuring all program activities are rigorously measured, evaluated, and communicated effectively. The role supports the organization’s impact and data functions by managing data systems, analyzing program results, and generating actionable insights to improve program performance. The Associate ensures that all data, from collection to reporting, is accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational impact goals across East Africa. The position collaborates closely with Impact and Sinapis Network teams to strengthen data-driven decision-making and organizational learning.
Key Responsibilities
A. Data Management & System Accuracy
Manage databases and systems (Salesforce, FormAssembly, HubSpot) for collecting and analyzing entrepreneur feedback and program monitoring.
Maintain high standards of data integrity, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
Conduct regular data quality checks and coordinate corrections.
Upload, clean, and validate baseline, endline, feedback, and alumni survey data.
Verify weekly that Salesforce dashboards reflect current program data.
B. Reporting & Insights Delivery
Develop and generate monthly and quarterly impact reports for the Executive Team and Board.
Produce dashboards and visualizations to communicate performance trends.
Identify insights and emerging patterns to inform program decisions.
Support preparation of the Annual Impact Report.
Maintain a central repository of impact data and reporting templates.
C. Survey Management & Execution
Support design, updates, and implementation of baseline, endline, and alumni survey tools.
Coordinate annual alumni survey processes across Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda.
Assist in planning and executing focus group discussions.
Review and test survey tools prior to launch.
D. System & Team Support
Document and escalate system issues or enhancement requests for Salesforce, FormAssembly, and HubSpot.
Support the Manager in integrating East Africa feedback and evaluation data into Salesforce.
Create basic Salesforce reports and dashboards.
Provide data tool training for internal teams and partner organizations.
Track alumni events and collaborations in Salesforce, ensuring consistency.
Verify program quality using feedback and evaluation data to support high standards in delivery.
E. Learning, Improvement & Cross-Functional Support
Analyze program and alumni data to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Contribute to impact storytelling and external communications.
Support leadership in benchmarking against best practices.
Participate in learning sessions and integrate findings into program design.
Provide administrative or logistical support as needed.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, MEL, or related field.
2–3 years of experience in MEL, data analytics, or impact measurement (non-profit or social enterprise preferred).
Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, data validation).
Experience manipulating large datasets using statistical or database tools (R or STATA strongly preferred).
Demonstrated skills in data visualization using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Familiarity with CRM or M&E platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
